The V-Star 650, first produced in 1998, is Yamaha’s small, entry level cruiser. Its lightweight but powerful design makes it a versatile and fun bike to jet around town.

• Based on a bored out 535 Virago engine• 649cc• Air cooled• 4-stroke• V-twin• SOHC

• 4-valve• 9.0:1 compression ratio• Fuel injected• 40 horse power• 510 lbs.• Available as a Classic, Custom, Silverado and Midnight Silverado

The V-Star 950 is a “Goldilocks” bike. It’s not too big or too small, not too fast or too slow, it’s just right. It’s such a well-designed motorcycle that in 2009 it was awarded V-Twin Magazine’s “Metric of the Year” award.

• Fuel injected• 50 horse power• 5-speed transmission• Disc brakes front and rear• Weighed 613 lbs.• Available in Standard and Tourer

It doesn"t matter if you want to hit the open road or you’re just running an errand to the corner store, the V-Star 1300 is a great choice. Yamaha gave the 1300 V-Star plenty of power for 2-up touring but managed to keep the seat height and weight low enough for easy in-town navigation.
